Helping Children with Music

The Wayne Music Festival takes place on the 2nd Saturday in June each year in Wayne, PA.  The event attracts more than 10,000 people each year to enjoy a wide range of musical genres and artists from all over the country.  The Wayne Music Festival highlights local and regional acts, as well as over 75 local restaurants and vendors.  The Wayne Music Festival for 2019 took place on June 8.  Please email waynemusicfestival@gmail.com for more info.

The Music Is Love Foundation was started by two guys who wanted to bring people and music together to raise money to help sick children get better and, just maybe, to help find ways to prevent kids from getting sick in the first place.

Two guys who owe their family’s lives to modern medicine – in more ways than one. In more ways than two, or three, or four, in fact.

Two guys who’ve spoken volumes in silence as dads washing our hands up to our elbows in a NICU scrub room.

Two guys whose families have stared down cancer and genetic disease and pushed back hard toward the light.

Two guys who believe that giving is blessed twice – it blesses both the receiver and the giver.

Two guys who can say that the bravest people they’ve ever met are members of their own family.

Two guys who believe that the answer to all of it is love.

Two guys who believe that music can move people toward love in extraordinary ways.

The Music Is Love Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation established by Ken Kearns and Charlie Houder and their families. It is dedicated to organizing and promoting music events to raise money and awareness for Pediatric medical providers. Our signature annual event will be The Wayne Music Festival on Saturday June 9, 2018 – and we will have additional music events over the course of the year to raise additional funds for children’s medical causes.
