Through our Plant A Billion Trees campaign, The Nature Conservancy aims to plant and restore over 1.6 million acres of land around the world with 1 billion healthy trees. The program has and will continue to make a significant contribution to the global environment by improving important watersheds that provide clean drinking water, clean air, and hydroelectricity to millions of people, and to provide protection for thousands of species of native plants and animals.
